Zack manages a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes. He has acted in cases involving allegations of conspiracy, fraud, and forgery, in corporate, commercial, probate, and land contexts.
His area of interest is in disputes involving elements of fraud and cheating which would entail high-level investigation and evidence-gathering.
Zack is familiar and has ample experience in the area of urgent asset preservation applications such as injunction, freezing order, and search order.
In terms of practice, he believes that having a strong case theory is central to the proper handling of a brief. His style of practice involves substantial investments on the investigative and evidence-gathering aspects in order to formulate effective strategies when the disputes are being litigated. Owing to this, Zack is often consulted during pre-litigation phases to ensure proper handling and preservation of crucial evidences.
Zack has appeared as counsel at all tiers of the Malaysian courts for trials and hearings. In terms of legal advice and solutions, he has been described as being “unconventional but practical”.
Additionally, Zack also has experience working with lawyers and industry experts from other jurisdictions including Singapore, Hong Kong, and British Virgin Islands involving complex and contentious issues such as share trading and market misconducts, world-wide freezing orders, and disclosure obligations within the contexts of securities and exchange laws, trust laws, and company laws in those jurisdictions.
